Get to Know 4-V Ranch

4-V Ranch was started back in the 60’s by Clarence R. Vaughn, Jr. and his wife, Doris Henson Vaughn. Simply put, the name represented the four Vaughn’s in the family. Dad, Mom, and their sons, Roland and Alvin. At the time, they raised Charolais cattle and quarter horses. The Vaughn family worked the cattle with the horses, and on weekends while in high school and summers during college, Roland would try his hand at roping in the local Rodeo circuit.

In 1997, Roland and his wife, Susan, started 4-V Enterprises LLP and introduced their children to the landscape maintenance business in Conyers, having them maintain the subdivisions Roland and Alvin were developing. In 2006, Roland launched 4-V Ranch Yard and Estate Maintenance in the Blue Ridge mountains. The 4-V Ranch Yard and Maintenance business venture is now one of the premier lawn and estate maintenance companies in the tri-state region of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.

We believe in supporting our community and proudly buy local, when available. We also support local non-profits including Humane Society of Blue Ridge, Bowls of Hope and the Blue Ridge Fannin County Women’s Shelter through donations and in-kind services.
